We enjoyed our stay. It was a bit loud with the up stairs guest who sounded like they were moving things around and making excessive noise. However, overall our stay was pleasant. The area is cute and we were able to walk around safely and easily. I would stay here again.

Overall, the hotel feels new, although the elevator is vintage and slow. Our room was clean, and just a bit snug. Bed was very comfortable. Avania Inn of Santa Barbara
General manger was very responsive to all questions and issues. Regular employees were ok, but not as good as property manager. They no longer do full Continental breakfast, just croissants, yogurt and fruit, so that was a bit disappointing.
