"The room isn't fancy but it is spacious and clean. The hotel is right in the middle of town so it is a short walk from everything. I enjoyed the limited breakfast items but I did hit up the local market for yogurt and fresh fruit. The pool and jacuzzi were very clean and enjoyable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. "

"VERY NICE! Great location—everything is just steps away, and you’re right in the heart of downtown Solvang within minutes by foot. The hotel itself is older, but very well maintained and impressively clean. I didn’t find any dust or buildup, even when checking window frames, light fixtures, and vents in my room. The room didn’t have that “old hotel” smell either. It was fresh and well kept. Since it is an older building, the walls are thin. You can hear hallway noise, conversations, cars outside, and even early morning activity like garbage pickup. Honestly, it wasn’t bothersome. It was more amusing than anything. Breakfast was okay, but with so many great restaurants just a short walk away, we didn’t expect to rely on the hotel for breakfast/meals. I booked through Expedia. But I was charged a $25 per night “holding fee” at check-in, which was a bit confusing. However, it was fully refunded at checkout. Still, the concept wasn’t very clear. Hopefully they avoid going down the path of adding unnecessary fees like some larger tourist destinations. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. Three thumbs up! LOL"

The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of Solvang and within easy walking distance to all the shops, ice cream spots, candy stores, restaurants, and bakeries. Our room was ready earlier than expected, which allowed us to settle in and start enjoying our vacation right away—such a great start! The room itself was spotless and had a beautiful view of the pool and surrounding countryside. What really made our stay special was the thoughtful hospitality. The kids loved that the staff handed out popsicles throughout the day, along with bottled water—such a fun and refreshing touch! We also absolutely loved dining at Craft House at Corque—it quickly became our favorite spot for delicious food and great drinks during our stay. Overall, this was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommend, and we’re already looking forward to our next stay!"
