"Book thru Hotels,com saves money. Stayed Wednesday to Friday. Atmosphere is very nice. Feel like a guest at Hearst Castle. Recommend the tower facing east. The higher floor the better. The rooms at the ends of the hall have more windows for best view. Pool is heated, spa is hot (needs update), beer is cold, wine cellar opens Thursday night. Third time here."

"We stayed one night in between two rounds of golf we played in the area. Check in lady was very nice and helpful about recommendations for some place to eat. Ultimately we chose to eat in their bistro. It was really good! Two in our group had the fish and chips and I had the daily special of cheese tortellini in pesto sauce with a side salad….. it was all so good!! We each took advantage of the two cocktails (we all had margaritas-yum!) The complimentary, cooked to order breakfast the next morning was great too. One of us had an omelette, another had scrambled eggs with toast and bacon and I had two eggs over easy with crispy hash browns and bacon. Our room was comfortable. We’re traveling with two coolers, so the full sized refrigerator and freezer was appreciated. Would definitely stay there again!!"

"Very nice place that felt high end yet welcoming. The only issue that wasn't 5 stars was a fan motor that was extremely loud and might have been going out. We got there late and didn't say anything so I can't day the stay wouldn't have addressed it if mentioned. The room was kept could enough when we arrived that it didn't need to run very long anyway. Every staff member we came across was very friendly, and i loved the room and bathroom and shower. I wanted to stay longer."
