Tedious getting into the apartment with all the safety features but that’s also assuring that it is a safe building. Nice, nee with all the comforts of home.

Great Private Units
Great place to stay! It's a little unconventional in terms of access to your unit but once you figure it out it's very private. Very quiet, extremely safe and well equipped units.

One-bedroom apartment next to Santa Clara Uni
When I booked this apartment, it was advertised as a hotel with a virtual front desk. It is NOT a hotel. It is a private apartment complex with dogs, piano teachers, and young people living life. If you need help with something, good luck. Our coffee maker didn't function. The Kasa chatbot told me to fill out an online form. I did and never received a follow-up. The Good: The apartment was spotless, quiet, and within walking distance of SCU and a few nice restaurants. There is public EV charging in the Retail parking spaces for $0.25/kWH. Charging is free in the SCU garage if you are visiting there. There is a gorgeous rooftop pool with two lap lanes plus a hot tub and loads of space to gather. The linens were soft. The Bad: The king bed was squeaky - don't sneeze or roll over if you plan to sleep through the night. Accessing the building was complicated (for good reason - they need to protect tenants). But be warned, if you are tired after a long day of travel or not tech-savvy, it can be difficult to get into the building. There is a 7-digit code that must be entered quickly - either have it memorized or have someone read it to you as you enter it, or it will time out. You will have another 4-digit code to access your apartment. After you get in, there is a key card for the elevator and exterior doors. It works well. There is also an app, but it's spotty, so a second card would be better.

The check in process was a little clunky, but the units themselves were great. I was in town for business and could easily see having an extended stay at this location. Convenient to the Cal Train and to the University. Safe, well maintained property and neighborhood.

The actual property was clean and very nice; the location was perfect for visiting SCU. Getting IN to the property was a pain. If you're not tech-y, or do not have a tech-y child to mentor you, you may not get in the apartment, let alone the elevator. You have a reservation code, an elevator code (enter to call the elevator AND to enter the floor when inside), and an apartment code. If your phone for some reason isn't getting service, and you haven't printed anything out, you're out of luck. There is no phone number to call in the email; there are links, but not helpful if you don't have an Internet connection. If you're tired or arrive late at night, just be prepared, and read the lengthy check-in email in advance. I wish I had. Again, great place and location.

Very pleasant stay
It's an entire apartment with everything you need. We like everything about the virtual "front desk" checking you in/out with clear instructions. The roof top gym and swimming pool is serene and beautiful. Definitely will stay again when we are back in the area

Very clean. Super nice to have a washer/dryer. Bed was very comfortable. Instructions are good but a bit tiresome as there are severalkey entries to get to your unit.

Great property in that it is new, super clean, and in a great location relative to SCU. The checkin process was cumbersome and our code didn’t work adding to the complication. Overall GREAT unit but checkin was frustrating and complicated.

L'hôtel est magnifique, il est neuf. Tout est très propre. La literie sublime avec un matelas à mémoire de forme et en 2 m de largeur. L'appartement est grand, dressing, lave linge et sèche linge de grande taille et neufs. La perfection va même jusqu'au modulateur de lumière. Sur le toit vous trouverez une piscine assez grande mais d'une profondeur de 3 pieds uniquement, bien pour les enfants. Une salle de sport très bien équipée et assez grande. Et surtout d'un jacuzzi et de grands BBQ à gaz. Avec des tables pour dîner en terrasse, et une grande table à l'intérieur avec des canapés et un tourne disque avec un grand choix de disques. Tout y est même la décoration. La seule chose qui serait à corriger est le manque de vaisselle, il n'y a que le strict minimum, je pense que c'est dû au fait que ce soit neuf. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à 3. Mon fils qui est adulte a dormi dans le canapé lit. Mais sans aucune hésitation, si je retourne à SF je reviendrai dans cet hôtel.

We stayed here while visiting my son who is a student at Santa Clara. You really can't find a more convenient location to the campus! We were able to walk everywhere. The building is beautiful with a nice pool and sun deck area. Our apartment was clean and spacious. We appreciated all the kitchen items so we could make breakfast in the morning. I got quick and efficient responses from the Kasa team in the Virtual Front Desk. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful apartment in a great location. Caltrain is just a couple minutes walk away - very convenient. The furniture in the apartment seemed brand new, and everything was very clean. No staff on-site so make sure to read the check-in instructions sent via email. We had a great stay and would definitely pick Kasa again.

Not worth staying there
Completely convoluted communication. They try to make money with early / late check in, hence they give you the information in 3 different text / links and e mails that leave you utterly confused At the end you need to call them to figure out how to check in and you waste just 30 min doing that The room is very loud as it’s next to El Camino Real and a railroad where a train passes by every hour The pillows remind me on Motel Sixt the cheapest plastic pillows you can find that leave you with a stiff neck next day
