"We loved our stay here. The grounds of the property are beautiful and interesting with lots of birds and butterflies (note there is some small construction going on at the moment but this didn’t affect us). It was a relaxing and peaceful place for a few days with excellent hiking nearby to the waterfalls and river swimming pools. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the enclosed seating area at the front of each cabin, with fresh coffee provided, was a great place just to sit for a while....

"The couple who owns the place was very nice, accommodating and friendly. You have to pay attention when you first arrive, as the area is not marked very well. the beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was perfect. "

"Sehr schöne Dschungel Lodge. Kein AC aber Ventilator ausreichend. Bequeme Betten. Tolle warme Thermen. Bad und Dusche etwas beengt. Frühstück gut, aber leider nur 1 Kaffee inklusive. Abendessen sehr lecker. Servicepersonal aufmerksam und schnell. Wer mitten im Dschungel ein paar Tage verbringen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Da die Hütten nicht hermetisch dicht sind, können auch mal Käfer hereinschauen."

"We really enjoyed our stay at La Selva. Loved the guided tour that is included and also did a bird tour on the property which was great. Both guides were very knowledgeable and we had a great time on both tours. Multiple trails on the property to explore on our own. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "Es handelt sich um ein riesieges Holzgebäude,das jemand vor mehreren Jahren mit viel Liebe gebaut hat. Es liegt abseits der Straße auf einem Mischgelände aus Kuhwiesen u. Restwald. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, rustikal und nach aussen offen, so dass man abends- wenn man nicht von Moskitos zerfressen werden will- kein Licht benutzen sollte.
