"The staff memories were lovely everyone you meet was pleasant. The property itself needs to be better taken care of from the outside of the building to the Un manicured grass- The bathroom or shower tiles need to be cleaned or updated a lot better than it is- My room was clean. The bed sheets were clean. Location is good The café bars was decent- opened every time I visited! The staff very helpful unpleasant. If staying there just know that the properties needs maintenance/updates"

"We moved here after needing to leave the other side of Sicily so this was a last minute booking. As other reviews have noted, there are some rooms of the hotel that are older and very dated. We were in one of those but honestly for the amount of time we were in the room, it was not an issue. The bathrooms could use updating but we enjoyed the hotel overall. The common areas are nice, the pool does get crowded though. The fact that you have to pay for chairs and umbrellas at the beach is annoying but that seems to be the Marriot way now. We just went to the pool early and grabbed chairs . The pool is very large which was great for all the people there.. The staff was very helpful both with figuring out how to get to Taormina and when our flight was canceled and we had to figure out how to get back to Rome. We really enjoyed our stay here. It is very American focused and the guests are as well though so if that’s what you want then this is great. We are American but we appreciate being around other nationalities when we travel ."

"The hotel was new and modern. Had all the amenities. A draw back was a very expensive taxi ride to Taormino and back again. The area was not really in a great walkable area although we did walk to a nearby beach about a mile away or so. The hotel did not have a beach or a beach shuttle which I thought I read they did. Disappointing. The beach club we went to had beds and umbrellas at a cost of course. The hotel rep said theirs was closed but all the others were still open. Not sure what that was about."

"Perfect location. The views are amazing and we love the restaurant outside with the perfect view. The hotel itself is very nice. Only thing is the shower floors are super slippery. I have never had an issue before with a shower floor being this slippery. I almost fell several times. They really need to come up with solution for this before somebody really gets hurt."
