"Room was very clean and comfortable, as was the bed. The bathroom was large and had an individual makeup table and stool. We were on the bottom floor, the hotel was sold out and yet we did not hear people walking above us. We did not hear doors slamming shut (the doors are not automatic close.) The breakfast was normal with two waffle machines. There were lots of choices although I think they needed more pastry choices. Wish they had cranberry juice. The noon checkout time was very beneficial. I will certainly stay here again when I am in Santa Maria."

"Bathroom smells like mildew especially the shower stall. Shower head was moldy. I am sensitive to mold and mildew. Bed was ok needs a topper. Plenty of pillows. Walking distance to downtown and restaurants. Easy parking. We had a room that had adjoining door and we could hear the people talking all night through the door."

"First of all, shout out to Hayden, our waiter in the restaurant who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Also, the food in the restaurant was surprisingly good and reasonably priced. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. We had the grand executive suite which felt luxurious because it was very big. We appreciated that we were able to get Amazon prime although the two TVs were somewhat small compared to other hotels, we’ve stayed at recently. The rooms were reasonably clean, but felt a little bit dingy and dated and not 100% well maintained. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we’re glad to finally get to have the experience of staying at this historic location"

"Breakfast was okay but not great. The eggs were not really eggs. They were pretty runny and tasted like some kind of imitation egg product. Parking was super easy and convenient. "

"The only thing I’d have to be unhappy about is that the restaurant 200ft across the parking lot from the hotel wouldn’t deliver an order to your room. Pretty discouraging that I wasn’t able support the establishment."
