The stay was good and had a good night sleep, I was there just for 1 night but enjoy it and was very convenient walk to the beach. The staff was great and curious. The lady at the breakfast help me with my food as I needed to leave to the airport. Thank you!!

This is well located property, but the neighborhood is a bit noisy, especially during holidays. the hotel is close to the beach and the staff is very nice

Room was not huge but it was very clean and comfortable. WiFi worked well and so did the in-room safe. When I arrived the AC took forever to cool the room, but once it did, it worked fine. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is very close to the beach, and to the ARA where you could get beer and guaro to carry around. There's a stairway to get into the hotel; however, if you really need it, there's an elevator they'll set up for you. Overall a very good stay.

A gem

An absolute gem of a hotel. Happy and friendly staff. Perfectly simple and clean room. Tasty breakfasts. Stand at the stairs on the pool level and feel the breeze that blows in from the sea. Such a natural and clever design to keep the building cool. Kudos to the architects. Del Mar will be my go-to whenever I am in Santa Marta.

Don’t stay here if you want to sleep well.

It was very noisy. The hotel is on a corner and all the locals party below the hotel along the one street (Carrera 3) every night loudly and until very late (3am). We stayed here several nights and didn’t sleep well due to the noise and the quality of the windows not blocking the noise much at all. Felt like we were sleeping on the street volume wise. Positives: foot wash station at hotel entrance for after the beach. Hotel has towels you can take to the beach.
