"Cute location and very helpful staff but not well maintained or cleaned. We upgraded from a room to the farmhouse and it’s cute but not very clean or well maintained. One of the doors had a chunk of wood that fell off and in the morning light you could see dog tracks on the floor. We swept the place ourselves because there was detritus on the floor. "Parking could be difficult, but generally there was at least nearby street parking if there wasnt any spots available in the lot. The place was clean, the AC worked great, and the showers were nice. Overall a great spot to stay at."

"Well kept property, accommodating staff ( trinity) was very helpful. staff and cleaning crew were very nice. Renato was ensuring our questions and needs were attends too with the use of bbq grill. Been coming here for the past 5 years to celebrate my son and my birthday. And has been a family tradition. See you again next year! We enjoyed pickle ball, tennis , swimming, pool table and just soak in the pool and spa!"

"OK, I don't usually complain and write bad reviews, but there were a lot of areas of possible improvement. Firstly, it was not made clear to me that we were staying at Viejas Hotel, and not Willows (which is completely nonsmoking). My husband is allergic to smoke. We valet parked at Willows, the Valet parker asked our name and was not able to tell us that we were booked into Viejas. We then had to walk a long way with our heavy bags, from Willows to Viejas. We decided to still eat at the hotel...

"Very beautiful place, everything was cleaned daily and it was a great experience, we stayed for 5 days and it was very peaceful and a great experience. The staff was amazing and very nice. Will totally come back one day."

"Best place we've ever stayed? Nope. Not in the top 20%. Perfectly fine? Yep. A word of caution..it is rural. There are NO amenities nearby."

"I like to cook & prepare breakfast of eggs. I bring my own 8" egg pan, good sharp knives for cutting or chopping. Everything else is provided. Stacked W/D each took about an hr no matter what setting you set. Staff is excellent & I love texting options with housekeeping. Everything you need within 10-15 min."

"Disappointed with the lack of aesthetics at the pool and it was filthy. Lots of floating dead bees, mosquitos, and other insects. Also, the water spigot at our site was dispensing brown water. And our site had a sewer lid where you can smell the stench"

"Awesome place. Friendly staff. There wasn't allot of info on the actual room. Room was nice and clean. How ever it was a little small and we had to keep the bedroom doors open because there's only ac in the living room. Other than that it was a cool place. I would go back. They don't charge for parking, that's a big plus in SD."
