Ubicación perfecta

La atención del personal ha sido de 10, en todo momento nos han estado preguntando y estaban pendientes de todo. En el desayuno podrían tener más variedad y sobre todo más cosas para celiacos (dulce). La habitación, en si, no estaba mal, pero para un 4* y para lo que costó, nos esperabamos más. La ubicación para moverte por todo el norte, es ideal.

Ok but no 4-star standard, really poor breakfast.

Nice and friendly hotel-staff. Beautiful old building with a nice garden and quite nice surroundings. Nevertheless, overall it did unfortunately not at all meet the expectations of a 4 star hotel and the price of the stay. The breakfast was a huge disappointment, it had a very low standard with no home made or local products what so ever, mostly all cheap and in plastic pre-packet products. The rooms were cold at night and the beds quite uncomfortable. We had payed for a Triple room but the third bed was a very uncomfortable simple and poor extra bed. Unfortunately not worth the high price of the place.

Hotel bonito, pero decepcionante

La habitación no era como en la foto. En la habitación cuádruple que nos dieron no hay dos estancias, como se ve en la foto, sino que son camas seguidas. Una ventana muy pequelña en una habitación abuhardillada en la que mis hijas se daban en la cabeza. El desayuno correcto, pero no para un hotel de 4 estrellas, ni siquiera de 3.

Au calme

Séjour en famille de 2 jours, l'hôtel est à 2 min de Santillana del Mar dans une maison de maître historique au calme loin des foules. La region est très belle et l'accueil de José est très courtois, chaleureux bref c'est une personne qui sait et qui aime recevoir.

Un lugar de ensueño. Los dueños simpáticos, agradables, cercanos. El desayuno muy correcto. La habitación muy espaciosa, preciosa y con todos los servicios. Recomiendo y repetiré.

Overall disappointing: - We paid about 200€/night and they smashed my family in a tiny room to which they added many beds. - The room had several spiders and spider webs - Very poor breakfest. Packed pasteries, bad coffee and simple fruit. - Away from the main attractions (Santillana del Mar and caves of Altamira)

Excelente y amable acogida de José y sus hermanas. El hotel se ncientea, después de 17 años, en un estado de conservacion como el primer día. Te hacen sentir mejor que si estuvieras en tu propia casa. BRAVO !!!

Beautiful place to stay

This is the third time we have stayed in this beautiful hotel. It is near the Santander ferry, and is an ideal place to stay. Full of character, the rooms are clean and spacious surrounded by gorgeous countryside. We will stay again next year!

Experiencia muy agradable

El personal del hotel es muy agradable y servicial. El hotel está ubicado en un entorno verde y tranquilo. El edificio tiene una arquitectura antigua majestuosa y está muy bien conservado. El buffet del desayuno es variado. En general es un hotel muy recomendable.
