A lovely family-owned hotel just a few steps from the Caldera, yet wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The swimming pool is beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of lovely options. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, always happy to share recommendations and all the information you need to make the most of your stay. A truly charming place - we would happily stay here again!

They make you feel right at home. Warm hearted hosts and the place was impeccably clean with comforable beds. Good location with views. Lovely little breakfast in a dining room with lots of character. A short walk to Fira's restaurants, bars, etc. Would stay here again for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay! The property was beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained, with a delicious breakfast to start each day. The owners were exceptional—warm, welcoming, and always available to help with any questions or requests, making us feel truly at home. One of the highlights was watching the breathtaking sunrise from the terrace, an unforgettable experience. My only complaint would be that the bed mattress was a bit hard. The staff were friendly, helpful, & welcoming. The rooms & property were clean and cozy. Great location. The pool was a welcome reprieve from the heat. Breakfast was great with lots of options. Would absolutely stay here again!

I can’t say enough how lovely this hotel was especially for me a solo traveler. It was perfectly located from the main center of Fira. Just a ten minute walk and you find your in the vibrant center of Fira. Where there are shops bars restaurants and if you want easy to walk to bus depot which can get you to different beaches or sites around Santorini! The staff was friendly, my room was spotless everyday! Definitely will return to Hotel Thira in the future!

We really enjoyed this hotel. It is close to everything you need but very quiet which we liked. The staff is fantastic especially Joy who served us a delicious breakfast every morning. This was really the highlight of our stay.

The staff are incredible, welcoming and go above and beyond to assist. I stayed here on my birthday, and the staff were incredible enough to provide a little birthday surprise, including balloons, a birthday banner, cake and wine. My birthday was only mentioned briefly to them at check-in, and they still took this extra step to make it feel special. Further, they were very helpful in assisting us in navigating Santorini's bus system. The rooms are well-maintained, and the hotel facilities, including the pool, are kept clean and tidy.
