"We loved Hix Island House!! It was quiet, except for nature sounds, and peaceful. Our unit had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t, a comfortable bed with mosquito netting, (I never saw a mosquito or a fly), fridge, 2 burner stove, basic kitchen supplies, plenty of thick towels, ceiling fan, (no air conditioning but it wasn’t needed) and an outside shower. "There was lukewarm but not hot water. There was a dead lizard on the mat when I arrived. It was hard to get responses from owners. They give two numbers and both would respond but then stop responding. The sponge for dishes was used. Had to ask for hand and face towels, but never got a hand towel. There's hardly anywhere to put clothes away. Bed was comfortable, bathroom is spacious. Easy walk to Seven

"Enjoyed our stay with a family of four for a week visit. This is an absolutely beautiful property to get away from the big cities, but still be in close proximity to many popular beaches/experiences. The property is stunning, the courtyard/pool immaculate. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Only thing I would suggest is a sound machine for light sleepers if you don’t enjoy the beautiful sounds of nature (there was no partying, etc. just normal background noise)! We will happily recommend this...
