Bali is a hot climate and the air conditioning in the room worked well, the hot water for the shower did not work so well, there is no air conditioning in the lobby/restaurant area but there are a few cooling fans. The room and surrounding areas had a noticeable musty, fungal smell, and there were insects all over the place, which made the stay uncomfortable. "I loved this place! Not right in the main hustle of Ubud but about a 5-10 min walk. Quiet, beautiful rooms and a lovely pool. Did a cooking class right at the hotel, which was amazing. I loved the nightly 'bedtime' story that was put on the pillow with turndown serivce. Unbeatable staff- everyone was incredibly helpful and nice. Went on my first scooter ride with Iyu, who also gave a fantastic massage. I will definitely stay here again!"
