"We really enjoyed our stay at Thon Hotel Opera. It’s right next to Oslo Central Station, which makes arriving and leaving so easy, yet being close to the station never bothered us. The city center and main attractions are all within easy walking distance. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding—probably the best hotel breakfast we’ve had, and we travel a lot. Everything was excellent."

"A spartan room, only the bare necessities. No drawers or other storage space. Beds squeezed together. Hardly enough room to turn around. The beds were comfortable, the staff was generous with towels. If I had known how rudimentary it was, I would have chosen a more luxurious hotel or a superior room."
