"Great location but very tired and dirty!
We paid £222 for a premium room mid week. The location is lovely but this is not for anyone with limited mobility.. the hotel itself is a rabbit warren with steps everywhere. Our room was awful. Chipped and outdated furniture, smelly bathroom, tv unwired, filthy windows, grubby in places. The dining room was mainly ok and the food the same. "We stayed over for the concert at the open air.
The hotel was clean and well maintained- all the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was clean. The bar was lovely and the restaurant and breakfast was perfect.
The en-suite was very small but clean.
The only thing that would have meant full star rating would have been a better parking arrangement, - a quality mattress and blackout curtains. That being said we would definitely stay here again."

"Great location for all areas of Scarborough. If you want a no frills place to stay with on street parking costing just £8 for 24 hours this place fits the bill. Jonathan greeted us and couldn’t have been more helpful. Yes rooms are not 4 or 5 star luxury but are clean, comfortable and well appointed (great for our stay to attend a concert at the open air theatre) 15 minutes away. "Amazing property, nice to stay out of Scarborough and have a peaceful village to retreat back too. The accommodation is so well decorated and has the wow factor. Highly recommend. Plus the pub is over the road with great food. Best for families with a car as not easy to get to on public transport. We’ll be back again very soon to try out another property in your collection."
