"My husband and I typically lodge at this property when we’re in the area. It’s located near the airport, eateries of all kinds (Olive Garden is just a few steps away from the hotel.), shopping centers, and I-64 (towards Richmond and Virginia Beach, either direction). We always feel safe on the property and in our room. Breakfast is continental and nothing to rave about. Parking can be a hassle, especially in the evenings and on weekends. "Clean room"

"The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. The breakfast area was nice, but the bathroom in the room had a visible rusted nozzle on the tub, and the ceiling was spackled but left as is."

"We’ve stayed in various Colonial Williamsburg properties over the past 50 years. We were disappointed with the Woodlands. The parking lots were filled with potholes and we had to dodge a few to get to our building. The elevator was located off the lobby which required walking a long distance once we reached our floor. A more centrally located elevator would have been much nicer. The room was comfortable and clean. All in all, it was ok, especially for one night, but we won’t stay there again."

"Even though this is an older property, the room was clean and well suited for our needs. The price was excellent and worked especially well since we were looking for a place that was simple, mainly a place to rest and sleep at night. It is close to downtown Williamsburg and near to restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We would stay here again"

"We stayed for two nights, only used the coffee machine in the lobby. But the rooms are very nice, very convenient, including parking right in front, convenient location, woodsy setting with little noise, everything was comfortable."

"Check in was good. Exercise room had several broken pieces of equipment. Fire alarm was set off at 545 by staff and no one knew what was going on. No shampoo or body wash in shower."
