"Very convenient to stay the night before an early flight the next day."

"Farmington Inn is quaint and has a mature person feel. The room was older and smelled like a nursing home yet it was clean and served the purpose. There was a small laundry room fire while we were there. Luckily, I was in my room and evacuated me and my dog safely. I questioned if they would have gone in to get my dog if I were not there. That question remains unanswered. I’d stay again. It was close to the interstate and food options and some of the most beautiful walks. "

"The room was clean but incredibly sparse as is the only had a single bar of soap and a roll of toilet paper. No tissues, shampoo or wash for the shower. I booked the room for 4 people but received only two towels. The second bed (pull-out couch) had no sheets and when I went downstairs I was handed a pile right from the dryer. Basic doesn’t even begin to describe this hotel. Imagine a hotel run by the department of corrections and you basically have this place."

"When I pulled up I was greeted by an enormius rat running across the lot. The lobby reeked of a oke.. Both ciggies and weed. Hallways as well. Room was smoke free and comfy but noisy af with amtrack station next door."

"That’s a laugh. When I checked out my car was missing. The staff was ridiculous. I called the police. I was told that my car was towed, actually 3 Lexus and 2 Infinity there towed from that hotel parking lot. My husband is quite sick and the minute he has seen his specialist I will be looking into this. I was told it was a scam by locals in that area. I will be consulting a lawyer and I will obtain documentation of the past few months to see who else and what type of vehicles are towed. Absolutely horrible feeling for us seniors!"

"For almost $700 for 2 nights with no breakfast included, I expected a lot better. The room itself wasn’t awful, having a fully equipped kitchen was convenient, and the view overlooking Dunkin' Park was nice, especially getting to watch fireworks both nights. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was disappointing. There was hair in what were supposed to be clean towels, thick dust built up in the bathroom vent, and dust/toothpaste splatter left on the mirror. The surrounding area also gave off a very uncomfortable vibe, including nearby homeless tents, which made the stay feel less safe and relaxing than expected. Overall, it wasn’t the worst stay, but definitely not worth the price we paid. We’ll be back in Hartford this weekend, but we won’t be staying here again."

"Arrived on a Friday afternoon, was informed after we checked in that the elevator was out of service, this property should have informed us of this before check in, they intentionally checked us in then informed us after we had checked in, this is bad business! I feel they should have hire someone one to help guest with rhier luggage. The elevator was out from Friday to the following Tuesday this is unacceptable. Marriott should take thier name off this hotel because they are a bad representation of the Marriott Brand. It's more of a Motel 6 category. Waste of my money for sure!"

"We were really looking forward to our stay. For a high end luxury hotel our room and parts of the hotel we walked through were quite scratched up, dented and not in great shape. I went use a guest robe and there was a big hairball in the sleeve. And then the day we arrived we had come from a specialty bakery where we bought $75 worth of baked goods to take home to share with family and friends—however we went out for the day and put the do not disturb sign on the door— when we got back later that day our room had been “touched up” and our entire bag of baked goods was gone. We had left our bags open as well because we weren’t planning on having our room cleaned that day— so the overall experience felt very violating. Lastly, they have no guest parking. We will definitely never stay here again."

"The breakfast buffet was lovely. Our concern was that all guests are charged an additional $20/day for amenities. We were there on a Monday overnight. The restaurant was closed, the pub was closed, the pool table room was closed, the pool wasn't open yet for the season and there wasn't any special programming. It would be more transparent to just include that $20 in the fee, then to make it seem like you are getting some extra amenities that any other hotel would just have included in the cost"
