"Location posted on Expedia was Interlaken where we wanted to stay but the hotel is located in Brienz which is 20 minutes by train from Interlaken. Hotel is located right in front of Lake Brienz and train/boat station which is great but its old 2 story building with small rooms and bathroom. Breakfast was good, however no toaster or microwave in breakfast area. SHort staffed, owner was on the counter plus doing everything."

The property is well-maintained, conveniently located, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, even picking us up from the train station with our luggage. The breakfast was excellent, and the breathtaking balcony view of the Eiger was a highlight of our stay. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and highly recommend this hotel."
