"The rooms were good and spacious - a little dated. No slippers or robes provided. towels are not fluffy. We had a room on the 2nd floor facing the street and the street lights are super bright. Breakfast was adequate and not late enough - weekends till 10am and weekdays till 930am. Should be later. Suite have everything you need. Did not use gym. At least 5 blocks up from the Waterfront area. Lots of restaurants and bars and entertainment around."

"We checked in very late, close to midnight due to our flight, and received a less than warm reception. But after that, everything was great. Breakfast was good and had enough variety. Staff were friendly and helpful when we needed more towels and shampoo. And everything was clean and comfortable. One thing, though. This hotel is uphill from everything downtown so, for me, it wasn’t as walkable as I expected. This area of Halifax is all hill. If you have mobility issues, you’ll want to stay...

"At arrival the room given to us was just beside the elevator. We asked to be changed there was no problem with the front desk but it took more than an hour to clean another room. We went for dîner and when we came back the room was ready and our luggage were already in the room. Nice place and nice service"

"We stayed in the older part of the hotel overlooking the lake, so we had a great view every morning. There was a window open when we arrived, making the room fresh! The room had 4 or 5 good lamps or lights around the room, so everyone had good lighting! Breakfast was always available in the morning with real blueberries!! Staff were so friendly and kept everything so clean!!"
