"Superb location, peaceful and beautiful. Close to Melrose itself, which is packed with walks and interesting shops and places to eat and drink. Lovely hosts who are friendly and welcoming. The actual property was comfortable, spacious and a splendid place to me. I cannot recommend the whole package highly enough."

"We were in town for the Race Across Scotland - crew stayed here throughout the week, and two of us who ran it were here after we finished. Was a close drive to Cocksburnpath, and to other surrounding areas. Great spot for 4 folks, and having laundry was a huge bonus. Lovely property."

"Prachtige self catering cottage op een perfecte locatie, uitkijkend over Jedburgh. Alles is aanwezig voor een heerlijk verblijf, ruime woonkamer, buitendek om te ontbijten, ruime keuken met oven, kookplaat en magnetron en afwasmachine. Ruime badkamer met bad en douche en twee slaapkamers. Iets minder begaanbaar voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn ( licht tegen heuvel)."

"I booked this cottage through Expedia and received confirmation that my reservation was confirmed. I travelled around 300 miles from the south of England, while my elderly parents travelled from the north so we could meet there for a family break. On the day of arrival, I never received the promised key-safe information. After contacting Expedia, they were initially unable to locate my booking. I eventually obtained access details from a neighbour, only to discover that the property was occupied...

"The property was good, upside down property, set in a lovely harbour town. Locals friendly. Amazing ice cream shop. The attached fish and chip shop was very busy too. Parking was roadside, not guaranteed, opposite the property. We arrived at the end of the Herring Queen Festival, which was packed out. We struggled to even unload, but obviously that wasn't something we knew about prior to booking. After that had finished, parking wasn't really a problem. A few niggles with property but it didn't...

"Nice rural location. Pleasant walk of about an hour into Melrose via Leaderfoot bridge and sight of Trimontium. The cottage was cold when we arrived. We used the electric heaters provided but they weren’t quite up to the job. Cottage could have been a bit cleaner. Good parking and WiFi."
