"We happen to arrive during an unusually big storm that took out the electricity for many miles around the area. They offered us our rooms with flashlights and warm showers. Fortunately, the electricity came on during the night, so we got to experience the Tendrum Lodge during normal operations as well. The staff was so very reassuring during the outage and when the electricity came on. We will definitely be back."

"The glamping pods were beautiful and decently sized. The comunal toilet and shower area was kept clean and tidy. Over all it was a lovely experience. Only concern was that my 4 year old had to be restrained at all times either inside the pod, in pushchairs or in reigns as the edge of the land at entry to our pod was a steep slope, ideally this could be fenced off. When we first arrived, as a family, i mentioned to my mum that this place would be a lovely romantic getaway for a weekend however...

"Spent my weekend at the Ariundle Centre Bunkhouse in mid September. The place was busy enough, but not crowded. Met friendly people, enjoying a variety of activities. Made a new friend. Really appreciated the helfulness of the Ariundle Centre volunteers. After my first night, I discovered I had acquired a screw in my tyre. " I booked 3 lodges for family and friends for my daughter’s 40th birthday. We all loved our stay, despite the weather. The lodges were clean, comfortable and very spacious. Grandchildren had a brilliant time with the outdoor space, swimming & dry sledging. Would have loved more time but we will certainly be back as there is so much we haven’t done. Local people & shop staff were very helpful and friendly."
