"The cabin is cute, but the property beside it looks down on the cabin so not much privacy or a view. There's no dishwasher, oven, or even a hair dryer here. When it rains the water turns rusty, thus is not drinkable and they don't leave bottled water for you or offer to help with that so that limits showers, toilets turned rusty, couldn't make coffee etc.
The property was a little overgrown when we arrived as well. But a person came while we were there and cut the grass."

This historic James River town offers scenic kayaking adventures and charming shops in its walkable city centre district. Visit Scottsville Museum to discover local heritage, then grab a riverside picnic from one of the family-owned cafés.
Beautiful suite (Roosevelt). Very comfortable bed and wonderful bedlinen. Great facilities such as fridge with waters, wine glasses, ice bucket. In dining room access to coffee, different teas.
Matt, the manager was very friendly and informative. We arrived much earlier than scheduled check in but Matt was very accommodating and let us into our room & informed the staff at the neighbouring vineyard we were en route for our late lunch. All in all a wonderful stay and we would gladly stay again....

The Oakhurst Inn is exceptional. On arrival we were upgraded to a suite which made our trip very special. The staff are very friendly and made you feel very welcome. The room was excellent with free coffee, water and soft drinks. The Oakhurst Café serves outstanding food and the Inn is well situated for the John Paul Arena, shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend this Inn.

Bob and Kathryn were very welcoming to their out of town B&B. Very comfortable accommodation and great cookies available with tea/coffee anytime!
Breakfasts set you up nicely for a day of sightseeing and a lovely garden to sit out in - along with comfy sofas inside
