"This place is way nicer than you would expect for an average rate. Spacious grounds, nice beds, and a yummy breakfast make it the best place to stay."

"When I booked my reservation, I knew this was an economy hotel therefore, my expectations weren't high. However, this place was substandard, even for and economy motel. To start with, the clerk at check in was bored. While she was polite, it was obvious that she would have preferred to be someplace else. When I checked into my room, I noticed there were no coat hangers on the rack. While I didn't really mind, because I didn't need them, to me it was a basic sign of neglect. The next thing...

"Homewood Suites with a beautifully maintained Hotel. The grounds were lovely with a large patio and fountain. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was delicious. There was plenty of restaurants nearby that would fit all budgets."

"My room was just one star short for cleanliness and the fact that the walls were thin enough to hear everything nearby in the hallway and vice versa. However, staff was welcoming and kind and hospitable where I will stay with them every time I visit. "

"Breakfast was “gone” or never even stocked except the same pan of sausage and eggs for the 3-hour duration or you could make waffles. No caffeinated coffee in the hotel - not in rooms, at breakfast, nowhere. The elevator had to be switched on for us to reach our room. The clerks carry on foreign language conversations on the phone while helping you. The pool was closed 3 of 4 days. The gym was closed every day for changing lights?? This place offers nothing besides a bed to sleep in....

"I had to ring the bell two times to get someone to come to the front desk. In the room there was food in the fridge and microwave. There was stuff spilled all over the wall and the dresser. Bed was clean, bathroom was ok, and check out was easy"

"Sadly, my wife made the discovery that the sheets in our bed were dirty sheets that even included blood spots on them. I’m not talking stained sheets, they literally were soiled with fresh blood spots. The guy at the front desk did change rooms for us but both rooms had a very musty smell. "

"Room wasn’t clean, smelled weird, dead bugs in the room and alive ones as well. Staff was short and argumentative. Would’ve asked for a refund and found a new place to stay but cut my losses and stayed as to not start an argument with the person working the front desk. Pool visibly has a film on top of the water you can see from outside of the pool area. I didn’t even check out the free breakfast based on the condition off the room condition and seeing the pool. Overpriced for what I paid for."

"Lots of maintenance needed in the room I stayed in. Bathroom sink that didn’t drain well. Holes in the window curtains. Upholstered chair that had seen better days long, long ago. Cigarette burns in the shower stall. Kind of a mess! "
