The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with places to go and suggestions for the amount of time we had to explore. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. "This was simply wonderful. The historical background made this a unique stay. The two floor apartment, which included a washer, was very spacious, well-decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was really spacious with lots of hot water. The AC worked really well. The staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of great options to choose from. It was also located in a great area where we were able to walk to a lot of the major sites and attractions. "

"We stayed in a room at the back of the hotel on the 8th floor. It was very quiet - nice large room. Incredibly stylish decor. Although there are no wardrobes or drawers for storage, the concrete shelving and racks are a neat way to stylishly store everything. Good breakfasts. The staff noticed that it was my partner’s birthday - without any prodding from me, they arranged for a bottle of sparkling wine, chocolate cake and a nice card - very thoughtful and typical of their excellent service. The hotel is in a very good location near the ribeira waterfront. Overall and excellent stay. "
