"Having a view of the Douro was beautiful. Our room was quiet, roomy and a fridge w/ kitchenette! Loved the shower. The front desk staff was great to deal w/. We were early and they were able to let us in our room. It wasn’t the room we booked but Miss Rita was able to change it for us. That was really nice of her. Thank you for our stay!"

"Lovely hotel, with friendly, helpful staff. While rooms are not huge, they are very thoughtfully designed for comfort and have all you need. Small outdoor plunge pool available for a wind down after a busy day sight seeing, and a lovely terrace bar. Great location, walkable to lots of food venues, bars & markets. "

"The hotel staff (Erica especially!) were so kind and thoughtful. It was our honeymoon and they wrote us a welcome note along with fruit and macarons. The hotel is in a great location and is very clean and modern. I would recommend getting a room on one of the upper floors for a great view of the city. "

"One of the best hotels in our itinerary. The staff was always friendly and available. The room was well designed and comfortable (the bed was an A+). The balcony over looked a luscious green space which made it hard to believe that you were in the middle of a city. The local self serve laundromat 2 doors away was genius for us and an under advertised benefit of the hotel (we travel light so washing facilities are important). The pool and jacuzzi were well maintained and the gym was compact yet useful. Well done!"
