"Nice room with a phenomenal view. Staff is outstanding and friendly. Be aware though that you WILL be hearing the fog horn 24 hours a day. That being said, the white noise from the room fan covered it up pretty well. My wife is a VERY light sleeper and when we had that going she had no problems. I just didn't think the fog horn always went off even when there is no fog."

"We were disappointed with our stay. There was no air conditioning in our rooms. It had been a really warm day. I am not comfortable sleeping in a strange city/ hotel with the windows open even though the rooms had screens. The lack of air conditioning was not mentioned in the hotel description. "Staff is amazing. It is a bit noisy as you are right on 101 but Pedro was able to put me further back and it was not so bad. Pedro is just amazing and so helpful, just a gem. Not much of a breakfast but plenty of options just down the road from the hotel."

"This place is a nice older motel without A/C, and the bedroom and bathroom are small. The hot tub/spa did not seem to be working. The front desk attendant was very nice. I was accidentally double charged but the attendant got with the owner quickly and straightened it out. The place was clean, and it was a bed to stay for the night with a roof over our head."

"If you want to be immersed in nature, this is the place to go! The inn is located next to a small farm where you can feed some chickens and see their llamas. Our room was spacious and comfortable. "We stayed in the Emerald Room for the 4th of July (the largest with the peacocks and the king bed) and found the experience to be a beautiful gem inside Fort Bragg. Do plan accordingly because there is no microwave or any way to cook things, and the fridge was a little warm. I'm not knocking off any points for the appliance situation because it made the experience more historical and made the dream real. The tower was the highest point in Fort Bragg and gave an amazing view for the fireworks...

"Our room was rather "bare bones" in its furnishings -- metal chairs and an undersize "table." The windows are original to the old building and one had to be propped open for air circulation. No window screens. The shower worked fine but it was spatially crimped, like an old-fashioned telephone booth. There was no host on site; "management" characterized this arrangement as "contactless." Is this supposed to be a selling point?"

"This is an older property but for what it’s worth the price is its location and location. Staff are helpful and friendly. It’s relaxing and with awesome ocean views."
