"My Victoria Motel room was booked two days before Saturday June 13, 2026 graduation day at UC Santa Barbara - it was cost prohibitive to stay at the downtown lodgings in Santa Barbara over ~$900/night
Better price in Ventura! Worth the drive and freeway close so it was easy access after a long day for travel and graduation celebration -

"First off, you really can't beat this location. The free parking on site is great, and the proximity to the beach and view from the room were fantastic. The neighborhood itself is very walkable and we especially enjoyed the Thai and sushi places nextdoor. The beach itself is also great, with a lifeguard tower immediately behind the hotel and lovely soft sand to play in. The staff at the Inn were also super friendly and responsive to whatever we needed.
However, everything else was a bit rough....
