"It was very cold and windy the two nights I was there, and the first night the heater wasn’t working. But they provided a space heater and also fixed the radiator heater in my room. They were very accommodating, and all the staff was helpful."

"Enjoyable stay. Lovely town, everything within walking distance. Private car parking space was good, although a little tight. House was clean and owners to attention to detail was apparent to us. "The hotel is part of the service area on the A1 but, unlike most such hotels, it offers good food as well as comfortable accommodation. We were impressed with the welcome we received - and our dog was happy with the positive attention he received! The chap on reception was able to recommend a good parking spot in Bamburgh, where we were keen to take the dog for a long walk! All in all, a good place to stop!"

"Amazing inn with super attentive staff. Highly recommend!"

"This is a lovely property that’s good value for money with friendly staff. A good base to explore the local beaches and countryside. Good food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, all served nice and hot. Overall a great stay, would go back again. Thank you!"

"Reception staff smiley and pleasant and efficient Nice room overlooking entrance and pretty flower bed. Bar a little small and too noisy as children running around."
