This was a last-minute trip, we drove down 2 hours to attend a friends event, departing right after work on Friday. We went straight to the event planning to check into our hotel after the event ended; however, during the event the hotel start sending us messages that their staff wanna go home at 10pm, telling us to check in before then. Thus our social time with our friends was interrupted, we had to leave the event and go check in. This was irritating, to say the least - and for a $250 / night room. (Seaside is expensive, this was one of the cheaper options.) The room itself is spacious if you need to accommodate a crib or a roll away.(we needed neither) It is also suitable for pets, we have a small dog. We found the TV unplugged, and there is no remote meaning you have to get up and use the controls on the TV panel. Adequate Coffee provided, and there was a fridge & microwave. Updated room decor, linens were mid, mattress quality poor, shower has hot water and updated decor but older fixtures. This is an adequate room for a family and brief overnight stay, just not for late checkin.
