"I stayed in room 1408. I arrived to my room and wanted a warm shower, because I had been traveling. The water wasn't very warm, I went to the desk and a maintenance man was sent up. He said he needed to tighten the shower & the sink facets. Everything was fixed.. I woke up to go on a guided tour early in the morning to find my shower was only luke warm water. No hot water was available to use. I was in a hurry, so I quickly showered and got out the door. Later I reported my concerns AGAIN to which they sent a maintenance man who said he reset the boiler & I should be all set. Okay.. later.. again the hand sink is cool water and not warm. I told the front desk and her response is. "Must be the boiler is overloaded, wait 20 minutes it should be better.. she also got on her walkie and told someone to turn the hot water on in my room.. seriously you expect your guests to wait 20 minutes to start their day, because your boiler can't keep up!!!
A hotel provides 2 things a bed & a shower on the day of check out I FINALLY had a hot shower. The lobby attendant really didn't care at all. Not a sincere apology ..nothing to compensate for only getting a luke warm shower for 2 day.
The location was good, but lots of other hotels in the downtown.
***In follow up..NO compensation was ever given to me for this experience.
I paid the full rate.
I am disappointed there was no follow through by Coast.
I also heard people walking above me. With I didn't expect hearing in this hotel."
