Hotel murah di Seaview

"WARNING: only hotel in the world with a 16:00 check in. If you can’t be bothered to staff the hotel at least leave a key box like every other hotel. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to waste waiting for 16:00 so checked into the Beachfront hotel in town for the same price and standard check in. "

"We loved our stay in the Blackhouse Cottage, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was gorgeously appointed and well set out. The beds were super comfortable and we were snug and warm in the cold. So cozy and the perfect place to unwind and relax. We would stay here again and again. "

"There was parking outside every unit for 1 vehicle. The rooms were fresh and provided the needed towels and blankets. Extra pillows and blankets in the room too. The owner Simon went above and beyond when we arrived, during a power cut (Narly storm chased us into Hokitika). He made sure we knew what was open for food and that we had a candle for a room until the power came back on."

"At the time of writing, this hotel has a 9.2 on Expedia. That is truly absurd. This hotel is old (they don’t call it “historic” for nothing) and run down (featuring peeling wallpaper, a saggy matress, threadbare carpet and a kitchen that looks like it was built in the 80s). Making things worse, there is literally not a single thing of interest in Kumara (it only exists because it is a stop on the West Coast Wilderness Trail). "This hotel is exactly what I needed after taking the Tranzalpine over from Christchurch. The front staff was so friendly and answered all questions I had, as a tourist in Western NZ during winter. The room was incredibly easy to get comfortable in, and the heat was welcoming. The AC worked as well but given the temperature during my stay the heat obviously most used. I walked down to the Tasman sea which is less than a 5 minute stroll from the property, almost all on sidewalk. I can not...

"Room was quite musty smelling. Carpet old and in need of a deep clean at least or replacing. The sofa also old and smelly. I wouldnt want to sit on it. Kitchen fixtures also old and inside them could do with a good clean and replacement or removal of liners. "
