Sky Rock Sedona has beautiful views from the property. The staff and maintenance crew were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We booked our stay through Expedia, and we were disappointed to learn that some of the amenities listed were no longer accurate (no free transportation service, no refrigerator in rooms, no free continental breakfast). Bar prices are high, we paid $42 for two cocktails.

Loved the property- location, gorgeous lobby with amethyst wall, great staff- Molly, Austin and Maureen! Live music in lobby with a great singer! Deck views are gorgeous! Rooms are clean and spacious with great views! The only negative was our AC unit. Super noisy, like a plane at take off, and it cycled on and off all night- we did call the front desk, maintenance person arrived immediately. He set the unit to cool properly, but the noise was not something he could control. Upon check out we chatted with Austin, Asst. Manager, he comped a charge on our invoice in apology, and said they have the unit serviced or replaced. He also gave us his business card and asked us to call him personally when we returned! Very kind! We loved Sky Rock! Lori and Art Matthews

What an amazing experience at this resort! I must mention JJ, the bartender, and Keele at the guest desk. Both of them made me want to return. After a tiring 3.5-hour drive from Phoenix, I expressed my frustration and exhaustion to Keele. She empathetically listened and provided me with a free parking pass for my stay along with a complimentary drink, all accompanied by a warm smile—a wonderful start to the trip. Braden, whom I met at the bar the first night, somehow remembered it was my 60th birthday two days later, even though I hadn't mentioned it again. He was fantastic. Having frequented bars for many decades, JJ stood out as the bartender I want to visit again. Despite my nightly indulgence, she was attentive, efficient, and polite not only with me but with everyone. Despite her busy schedule ensuring every guest had an awesome experience, she kept the bar and tables spotless, yet always gave the impression of undivided attention. Her exceptional service alone makes the resort worth visiting. Beyond the staff, the breathtaking view of the red rocks from the deck, combined with the nightly and morning music, makes this place truly special. I can't wait to return. I hardly ever write reviews. As a matter of fact I can’t remember the last time I did, but the customer service and cleanliness and accessibility of this hotel was worth writing a review. I was so comfortable during my stay and appreciated and was grateful for the quality breakfast, scenic views and live entertainment. The gym was off site which was the only inconvenience but considering the trade off of how comfy the hotel was it was worth my time.

Considering the price of the room, it was disappointing to find several things in disrepair (e.g., the shower fixture, wall decor, exterior electric doors, and even the room door). It was also difficult to locate the room number, and the walls were thin enough to hear conversations from neighboring rooms. Depending on which staff member was at the front desk, the level of hospitality varied, and at times, I didn’t feel very welcomed. That said, despite these drawbacks, this hotel offered the most stunning view of Sedona out of all the places I’ve stayed. I especially enjoyed the breakfast accompanied by live music and the breathtaking mountain scenery.

The view from the property was beautiful, but unfortunately, that’s where the positive aspects ended. The breakfast was mediocre at best, with a rating of 3/5. The sausage was rubbery, and the bacon seemed like an imitation product. Upon check-in, I was not acknowledged and then eventually instructed to wait while the woman behind the counter finished her phone call. Afterward, she proceeded to take another call right in front of me, forcing me to wait uncomfortably for about five minutes. I eventually stepped outside to get my spouse, as the situation was becoming awkward. When we entered the room we were assigned, we were immediately hit with a foul smell, almost as if someone had just used the bathroom. I had to call the front desk and request that the maid come back in and spray the bathroom. The woman on the line explained that it may be the plumbing at the property . To make matters worse, there were no nighttime events or activities, which left us feeling disappointed and unengaged during our stay. The room itself was decent, but certainly not worth the price I was charged. Given the rude behavior from the front desk staff, the unpleasant odor in the room, and the lack of any entertainment or activities, I can confidently say that I will never book here again.

Sky Rock Sedona is relaxing, clean, beautifully decorated, conveniently located, and a great value for your money. The service is impeccable. Shout out to Rita from the front desk who, along with her coworkers, really goes above and beyond for the guests to ensure they have the best vacation. The morning medication, live music in the evenings, and events like star gazing really make this such a magical place to stay.

Loved our room. Very clean and with a nice decor. Enjoyed daily meditation and yoga. Adriana was an amazing teacher. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.
