"I arrived and the owner wasnât expecting me even though I had booked earlier that day through Expedia. The room was fine, hard mattress but I like that. A bit outdated and hard worn sheets but I slept really well.
I asked about dinner and the owner said yes 7:30. I was sat in reception alone (in the dark as the light kept going off) and served a bowl of pasta with chopped up smoked salmon and cheese, a dry crepe and a terrible packaged flan. It certainly wasnât worth âŹ22 I think I received a...

"DÚs notre arrivée, nous avons été reçu par l'hÎte qui s'est montré trÚs avenant et à l'écoute.
La maison est juste splendide, notre chambre était confortable et bien équipée.
La salle de bains commune est trĂšs grande.
Niveau propreté, tout est nickel.

"De passage dans la région nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner 2 nuits au Manoir de la vieille douve, un trÚs bel établissement, parfaitement bien rénové, dans un cadre trÚs agréable. Nous avons testé la chambre Olive qui est trÚs bien décorée, spacieuse et lumineuse.
