"Had to cancel trip due to national warning against travel to Turkey due to conflict in Middle East. A missile was shot down by NATO over Turkey the same day as our travel. I requested the hotel to defer my reservation or give me credit for later travel in Summer / after the conflict is over. They showed me hotel non refundable policy. Conflict and bombs were not in my control and a good hotel that cares about it customers would have accommodated. All other hotels in Turkey were able to accommodate and give me a refund even though reservations were non refundable. Very disappointed with attitude and will never go there or recommend it to anyone"

"We had such a great three nights stay at Rixos Tersane, with my family. The staffs were so welcoming and helpful. My room upgraded to full sea-view and additionally with balcony. Breakfast buffet was also great with lots of options and a great view. In extra, I would like to extend our thanks to Mrs Kubra from guest relations for assuring a comfort stay with an extra services by arranging indoor pool for the kids at Aliee Hotel. "

"Be careful with the upgrade offer from reception. I’ve been offered a free of charge a different room with a larger room as they promised. It turns down their offer is reversal from your original price and room size to the very smallest one. Do not fall for their kindness free updates because you’re will become a victim of being scammed and your original room will be once again posted online. Their room beds are extremely low on height is about one foot tall or 0.3 meter high. "

"The hotel is total improvised. It is never explained anywhere when you book your reservation that the hotel is divided in 2 buildings that are not together you have to walk 2 blocks and climb 57 stairs to have breakfast, the hotel is in a steep hill so side walks are stairs, 57 stairs to go from your room to the building that has the restaurant. We didn’t had hot water in the shower, you hat to tell them you wanted warm water in the shower so they turn on the eater heater, so two days we arrived pretty late from a tour and never had hot water in the shower, we had to shower with ice cold water, we got sick. The hotel gave silly excuses, or offered at 11 pm a room change in the second building, so that meant carry luggage 57 stairs and s steep hill, because cars cannot reach the second building. We spoke with the manager next day, “ I am sorry, we offered a room change in the middle of the night and you didn’t accept it” of course not! I was not going to make my little daughter, family, elderly mom, climb a hill with luggage in the middle of the night. Terrible!!! Yes staff are pretty nice but solve nothing. "

"I enjoyed our stay here at Elysion Hotel. It was centrally located on a quiet street in Old Town where there are tons of other hotels, a 15 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar, in the heart of the textile/fashion district, 1/2 hour from Istanbul airport, several good restaurants that provide impeccable service (i.e. Diana Cafe, Venezia Cafe & Restaurant, B Class Restaurant, and Zurich Restaurant), near the oldest Turkish Bath called Hirzirbey Hamami established in 1458 AD, hair salons, massage/health & wellness centers, convenience stores, the light rail transit, and more! The room was clean, had daily housekeeping service, provided fresh towels daily, rainfall shower head with high water pressure, amazing selection from daily breakfast included from 8am to 10am, very family-friendly, and amazing hotel & kitchen staff. Very budget friendly and will stay here again! I highly recommend it "
