"Mariposa is a hidden gem. It’s quiet, spacious, and welcoming. It’s super conveniently located- the Placencia airport is about a 1/2 mile away, and the Village is about a 3 min golf cart drive. It would be a long walk. There are several markets to buy snacks and drinks in the Village, as well as great restaurants. Our room was not a treehouse and was in a sub-par location/ up stairs and behind a wall- it did not overlook the pool, beach, or jungle, but provided a nice escape after days of...

"Midgrade American style resort too far from everything. Lots of construction going. Resort fee which is fine but then services $ on everything and if you eat at the only restaurant on the property there is an extra "pier $" bc the restaurant is on the pier. Not even a complimentary bottle of water in your room. 5 days in beach front villa. Nicest room available. Ragged out common area chairs and umbrellas. Very nice staff. "

"I absolutely loved everything about Villas at Playa De Coco! 5/5 stars does not seem like a high enough rating. The airport pickup process was easy to arrange, delicious food, gorgeous property along with a beautiful beach/multiple pools, and the staff are all so nice. Dale, Magdoleno, and Sade helped me tremendously and I will forever be grateful to have met them. I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Villas for helping me welcome in my birthday!"
