"Black Rock Lodge was absolutely amazing in so many ways: atmosphere in the rain forest, friendliest and most helpful and accommodating staff, the best included activities like hiking trails, views, tubing rapids, waterfalls, tree swings, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, the 4 course meals made from garden produce, bird watching- even at meals - staff was very knowledgable and helped point out variety of wildlife, and so many other tours the staff helps you plan and accommodate your needs. "Our apartment did not have any blinds and was insanely bring it in the morning. The pillows were absolutely horrid and the noise was pretty loud despite it being the low season"

"Beautiful and well kept grounds/beach /facilities. Very nice and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. One suggestion: all 4 pillows were very high, perhaps have a couple of lower ones????.

"Absolutely loved this property! It's gorgeous and the staff is amazing! The rooms are spacious and honeymoon vibe. We went during the dry season which is the hottest so be prepared for the humidity and lots of stairs. If you are a light sleeper I recommend you being earplugs because the wild life dont care if youre sleep deprived. Food and drinks were so good and we definitely will be back!"

"Just got home from a week at Ocean Tide! It was an amazing trip. It is in a prime location, a very short golf cart away from literally everything. Also has 2 cafes very very close which was easy breakfast and lunch options. All the staff we met there were friendly. They even have the sweetest hotel cat! The manager also booked our flights back to Belize City for us which was so helpful and one less thing for us to worry about. Safety was never a concern, we noticed security on site overnight,...
