Rustic gem in Selcuk

Friendly owner, comfortable bed. Quiet, easy to park on the street directly outside.Tasty, fresh Turkish and european choices for breakfast, sitting in a lovely garden area. This is a simple rustic, budget pension with a few rough edges, aged character and charm set in a street with smart , quiet restaurants and wine bars. We have stayed in more expensive hotels in Turkey but this has been out favourite.

Such a charming and cozy place, and the hosts are very gracious! The property is perfectly located, making it easy to access main attractions and restaurants while remaining quiet and somewhat tucked away from major traffic areas. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean, comfortable bed, good heater in January, lots of hot water with good pressure. 5 minute walk to the St John Park with an impressive castle, and 15 minutes to the shuttle to Ephesus Archeological site. Great fresh variety for breakfast. Safe quiet neighborhood and nice helpful host.

I loved my stay at Amazon Antique! This darling little guest house has clean rooms and great air conditioning, but you'll really love it for the beautiful courtyard and delicious breakfast you'll enjoy in it. The staff are wonderful and so helpful! I very much enjoyed the local food suggestions that I wouldn't have found otherwise. I loved the area, a short walk from the train station and close to St John's Basilica, because it was quiet and peaceful, with stunning views close by. Amazon Antique helped to make my stay in Ephesus a travel memory that I will cherish!

I had a brief but very pleasurable 2 night stay here. I arrived in time for check-in and the owner showed me to my room and put some laundry on for me (for a small charge). My room was clean and quaint (it’s a 150yr old property) and was great value for the price I paid for it. Budget hotels are so much better than they used to be. It’s in a great location next to some nice bars and restaurants and just metres away from St John’s Basilica and the Castle. I could get anywhere else within 10mins easy walk, including the bus station for buses to Ephesus and Sirince. Breakfast was lovely and set me up for the day. The owner was friendly and helpful, recommending a great place to eat on my first night (by the marketplace) and to visit Sirince if I had time. I’d be very happy to stay here again.

Overall a great stay! Host was very kind and helpful, and breakfast was great. The location was also great - walking distance to the bus terminal and train station, and even to Ephesus (~35 mins). The neighbourhood was also very quiet, which was nice. The room was a bit humid upon arrival but the AC worked fine!

We loved staying at this hotel. It has a beautiful garden, the room was very clean and comfy. The area of the hotel is very quiet but it is close to cafes, restaurants and local shops. The host and staff were very kind from day one and breakfast was delicious each morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazon Antique is a very cute guest house. The rooms are each named after gods. Our room was just right for two people. It was very clean. The courtyard was beautiful. The breakfast was great with many choices. The owner was very helpful in giving us directions to the travel agency to buy ferry tickets to Samos and to arrange transportation to Kusadasi. He also gave us directions to restaurants that were run by women who served homemade food. He called the taxi for us to get to Ephesus. Altogether an amazing host. On our last day as we were leaving early, before breakfast, he prepared breakfast to go that was so much we had it for breakfast and lunch.
