"I was traveling solo through Matsushima Bay and I found this amazing Ryokan through an AI/Google search. I was highly impressed with service provided by the staff! I especially liked their use of some cool technology I had not seen before (it was a set up of two microphones, one facing the guest and one facing the staff, that automatically translated speech to text for display on a digital board between us as we spoke to each other). This was extremely helpful during my check in/out process...

"Note!!! - The main picture of the hotel (which appears to be of the property) on Expedia... is in fact about half a kilometre away and is of a public bath - not the property!!! Extremely misleading and needs to be removed. The bedrooms have no windows. The room was cleaned poorly. The buffet breakfast was poor and food not kept hot. Only one juice (hope you like carrots).
