Cher pour ce que tu as. Belle piscine Climatisation fonctionne seulement s’il y a de l’électricité, pas sur la génératrice. Paiement par carte difficile a cause du réseau Bon choix du menu Si tu veux un café style americano, cappuccinos, faut payer au petit déjeuner. Sinon c’est juste du café instant Durant notre séjour, nous avons réalisé que l’alcool n’est pas permi sur le site. Également des personnes faisaient la fête jusqu’à tard le soir et tôt le matin. On a au moins eu une journée relaxe à la piscine, mais si vous voulez relaxer, c’est peut-être pas l’endroit idéal.

The lake view is nice. The water is very high right now and so there is no beachfront (which is reportedly the case at most properties). Unfortunately, my room had no hot water (though they tried to turn it on??) and the wifi might as well be nonexistent. The Indian menu options at the restaurant are very tasty, however. Expectations should be kept in check.

I terrazzini avanti all' ingresso della camera non hanno privacy;le camere con lake vew, come la mia,hanno davanti il ristorante con i clienti molto rumorosi, la camera non vale 80€. Al check in non avevono la mia prenotazione; come sempre in africa.

Bad wi-fi

you can't stay here if you need wi-fi. No wi-fi in the room and wery bad in the garden. Do not stay here for the food at the restaurant and at the breakfast. We had to ask for 2 towels. There was a kettle in the room but no tea or instant coffee The staf was nice and kind.

Just a one nighter on our journey south. We enjoyed lakeside rooms and a spectacular sunrise. No mosquito nets...? Friendly staff doing their best in difficult conditions.

The staff and management were very friendly and helpful. They helped us catch the ferry to Likoma Island. They use a generator in the evening if the Power is off. There is a tea kettle in the room but if the power is off they will bring you hot water for tea. Breakfast buffet with room rate.

Overpriced and run down

This hotel was a bad experience. We were looking for a beach hotel and chose this one, not least because of the published photos. Don't let this fool you, the photos are heavily photoshopped. Overall, the hotel leaves a rather run-down impression. Our criticism in detail: Access to the beach was not possible - the water reached directly to the iron fence. The pool was smaller than on the photos and not clean. Our room was also run down. Neither the air conditioning nor the TV worked. There was little water coming out of the shower and it was cold. The Wi-Fi was not available in our room. There is a small restaurant, nothing else. You can't even get a beer there. The breakfast was also not good and there was hardly any choice. It's also interesting that the hotel is listed as a 3-star hotel on hotels.com, but as a 2-star hotel on Google - and we think even that is a bit high. We had booked 3 nights and left early after the first night. Unfortunately we had paid in advance - the hotel refused to refund anything. Therefore our warning: Do not pay in advance here under any circumstances - even better: avoid the hotel. There are nice other hotels in the area that are not overpriced but offer friendly service and a nice experience.

Our purpose was to get away and relax for the weekend and this was the perfect place for that. Lakeside Hotel has tables, chairs, and sunbathing chairs all with lake views. The food from the restaurant was very good, especially the chambo and the Indian dishes. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only things that could make it better would be having a bar on site and a better water heater-- the showers were a little cold. Otherwise it's a very good deal for the money and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Basic Hotel, but OK for 1 night stay.

Quite basic hotel, which was OK for 1 night stay. The shower water was not very hot, but in fact it was enough for the weather which we had. Breakfast was quite basic but also enough for a short stay. Internet was working well, but only between 6 pm and 6 am.
