"We enjoyed our stay at theZip Hotel very much. It was conveniently located between 2 train stations, a 1 min walk to Sinchon Station and a 4 min walk to Sogang University Station. Plus it was a quick 15 min walk to Sogang University where my son is going to school for the semester. We were very impressed with how well maintained the property is and how convenient the shared kitchen is with all the amenities you need. "I had a great stay at Loft13 Hostel! It was an excellent value for the price. The hostel was very clean, and everything was well maintained. The highlight of my stay was definitely the staff—they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed.
I also really appreciated having access to the washer and dryer, which was so convenient during my trip. As a bonus, the city views from the windows were beautiful, especially at night. I would definitely stay here...

"Super room, location and facilities. Worked really well with the kitchen and breakfast in common area. Only minus was that noise in the room from boiler and pipes."

"I liked this hotel. It was in a convenient spot. It was clean and a comfortable stay with my 2 friends. The staff were nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel!"
"I will not return to this hotel in the future. The negative aspects of this hotel negate the all the positive things about it for me.
The hotel is neither close to gangnam or gangbuk. It is quite a distance away from most of the attraction sites in Gangbuk (easily taking 50-55mins using subway and walking). I will choose to stay either at Gangnam or close to attraction sites in Gangbuk the next time.
More importantly, the staff are unhelpful. Polite but unhelpful. I don’t think it is individual staff necessarily. there is no concept of hospitality across all front desk staff. I find their lack of caring profoundly upsetting.
I’ve contacted the hotel 4-5days prior to our arrival enquiring if we could check in early because we had a dentist appointment at 2:30pm after arriving from Australia at the hotel in late morning and would like to have a short rest before getting to the dentist. They sent a very standardised email advising they cannot guarantee an early check in and it will depend on availability. On the day of arrival, they advised there is no availability and they were going to check us in only after 3. There was no offer to use their changing room and shower in their swimming pool to freshen ourselves up or offer of contacting us earlier than 3 if a room was to become available.instead I was told if I want to check in early, I need to pay for a day which got me thinking that they do have rooms available but just don’t want us to check in a couple of hrs early."
"Good central location but the walk to the subway is too long. The room is smaller than expected and the bathroom is not separate from the bed area. An awkward design.
I mentioned to the front desk and showed some pictures, that the shower wand holder was loose on the wall, nothing was done to correct the problem. I also mentioned the mold on the bathroom wall near the soap dispensers. The solution was that housekeeping scrubbed the mold with a toothpick and left the dirty toothpick on my scrub sponge."
"I love the shilla! Beautiful hotel and wonderful service. Enjoyed all my meals at their in-house restaurants. My only disappointment is their offer of shilla shuttle to the myeong-do area -- they don't actually have it. They said they sometimes do not offer the service...no guarantee. Why offer this service on the hotel description if the hotel doesn't guarantee it. No one could explain it to me."
"It was centrally located. The rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. In addition, the laundry facilities were very useful! I would stay there again"

"It was a good experience overall but there were some inconsistencies from housekeeper. They took our bathrobes and never gave us replacements right after the first and second day of our stay. They also didnt provide trash bags for the garbages in the bathroom and kitchen except for the first time which feels strange for a 5 star hotel but overall, I am thankful for the job they did helping us clean up the room and there were no other qualms besides that.
The washer dryer combo was terrible though and I do not recommend using it unless you plan on being there when it finishes because your clothes will just be a soaking wet mess after the “dry cycle.”"
"The rooms were clean but smaller than what we are used to in the US. The breakfast buffet was excellent! We stayed long & each morning the chef already knew how we liked our eggs prepared. The staff were all very nice & attentive to details. The male front desk manager was very accommodating & friendly. Gave us drinks upon arrival."
"Such a great stay! Was conveniently located. The complimentary water and tea in the lobby was always stocked, and so incredibly refreshing coming back in from the heat. The free ramen at night was great, too!"
