We had a fantastic stay at Rian. The room was very comfortable, equipped with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing visit. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. I would definitely stay here again!

Rating: 5/5 – Fantastic Stay in a Prime Location! I had a wonderful stay at Rian Hotel Jongno-gu. The location is incredibly convenient — just minutes away from public transportation, including both train and bus stations, making it super easy to get around Seoul. The neighborhood is full of great restaurants and cafes, all within walking distance. The room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The staff were exceptional — friendly, helpful, and always available when needed. If you’re looking for a clean, well-located hotel with great service, Rian Hotel is a fantastic choice. I would definitely stay here again!

Seoul family trip

Crew was very polite and helpful when needed ,large and smart room , restroom large and sufficient with both shower and bath ,location is right in the middle of everything , short walking to subway stations and attractions.

The hotel only a couple of minutes from the subway line. Just exit number 15 on the number 1 line and through a alley right beside a pharmacy.

The location was ideal. The room was a nice layout and it was clean and comfy. Roof top garden was nice. Staff were nice. Expresso on the main floor. Overall budget friendly and a good clean comfy spot to stay

Clean hotel and spacious room for four people. Four bottles of water are provided everyday. Free washer and dryer with detergent on top floor. Nice lounge and terrace with a nice view on the top floor. Plenty of amenities like shampoo, liquid soap, hair dryer, tea/coffee, refrigerator, and a safe in room. Room service is once during our stay. Put dirty towels and trash outside the room door in the morning. Receive clean towels and water bottles in a bag outside the room door. Friendly front desk staff who speak limited English. The staff helped call a taxi for us twice. The taxi is inexpensive in Seoul and takes credit card. The staff also watch the luggage before check in and after check out. Although the hotel is inside an alleyway it is safe and just a minute walk to the main street. Hotel is close to restaurants, cafes, and buses. Train station is about 10 minutes walk. Remember to scan the Tmoney card when entering and exiting the bus/train. Walking distance to the palaces, oldest market, trendy Youth Avenue, and Cheonggyecheon stream. A nice hotel overall.

Pros: very spacious, polite staff, convenient location, free coffee and nice rooftop patio/lounge areas Cons: a bit run down and needs better cleaning.. the bathroom was moldy and shower floors felt slimy with soap scum, toilet seat was old and yellow and the bidet did not work, don’t think they wash the provided slippers Overall we did not feel the room was worth the price.

Winthin walking distancce of subway.. A lot of shopping and food joint around the area.. The upsetting / irritating issue is that you have to tell reception one night before to tidy room else bed is not make, trash are not taken away, dirty tpwels are not changed. As we are not aware of this rule, we we were living in a dirty room for 3 nights. Else all other stuff are acceptable.

Our stay here was overall good, we really enjoyed how quiet the location is and how close it is to everything. The only con we experienced was upon checking in at 7am, there was no one at the front desk. The employee onsite was sleeping in a room next to the reception area and clearly just woke up, which I found a bit unprofessional. Other than that, the hotel itself is great!

宿泊に伴うスタッフのサービスは問題なく満足です。 ツインの部屋の狭さ、浴室の仕切りのなさでトイレまでびしょ濡れ 洗面ボールの小ささ、手しか洗えない、それに伴い鏡などが不便なところにしかない、化粧や髪のセットはどこでやるのかしら… ドライヤーの風量は十分あり、嬉しかった。 ホテル周りは夜はちょっと暗いので、遅く帰着する一人旅はドキドキします。 寝るだけしかホテルにいない、という場合にはおすすめです 宿で楽しく食べたり飲んだりしたいとか楽しみたい方にはおすすめできません。 残念ながら次は泊まりません。

I guess they need to have a solution to block the water inside the shower when anybody is having a shower. Currently when you have a shower over there the bathroom floor gets wet very quickly and that’s not comfy.
