"This wonderful older building became a hotel in 1900, which might have been the occasion of the last renovation. Today, faded glory is probably the best description. I stayed in Room 1, a room that should not be used for guest accommodation. It looks onto a square but, perhaps for preservation reasons, there is no attempt a sound mitigation at all. Similarly, all the noise from the lobby, bar area arrives unfiltered into Room 1, which on a Friday night continued into the wee, small hours."

You experience the sense of calm created by the beautiful landscape and the architecture of the hotel. The staff are excellent and the service is 5-star. The restaurant creates the perfect ambiance for dining and the food is creative and beautifully prepared and presented.
