Hotel Chamartin The One
The big plus of this hotel is it's proximity to Charmatin. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean but the building and hardware was showing it's age. Regardless, it was still a great hotel to stay at in between a flight and a train.

Senator Barajas Hotel
I really expected to be unimpressed from some if the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. My room was on the 7th floor, and had a ceiling fan, so no temperature issues that some have mentioned. The shuttle to/from airport terminal 4 is a A+. Very convenient and comfortable at any time of the day. Nice bed and linings. The breakfast is tasty and full of options even gluten intolerants.

The shower water flow was small or narrow. No pressure. The hotel has great views but I wouldn’t rate it a 5 star hotel
