Great place to stay. Close to Sossusvlei gate. Meals can be had at Sossusvlei lodge across the street or make your own. Great pool!

Stunning views of the desert from each chalet/bungalow and the bar and pool area. Very clean and well maintained. Lovely staff!
Dinner buffet at nearby (4 km, 4 min drive) Sossusvlei Lodge was impressive! Easy drive (5 min) to Sesriem gate to get in at sunrise. My favourite accommodations in Namibia so far (3rd stay in a 10 day self-drive tour).

Great cottages, well equipped and close to Sossusvlei park. The dinner buffet at Sossusvlei Lodge was also great with many options. We recommend to take a breakfast basket from Sossusvlei Lodge with you and have breakfast in the park which is a wonderful experience!

We enjoy our stay at this place it was quirky. The bed was comfortable and the sink area was spacious. Wi-Fi was not available neither was food on site and we had to eat at a nearby hotel for breakfast and dinner which we’d included in our stay when booking.

If you are going to Sossusvlei/Dead Vlei, this is the perfect location to stay. It's 5km from the gate and worth the price. It's self-catering, but there is a lodge a few km down the road that offers dinner and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious.

Great stay!
Loved this place! Very underrated, property was very pretty, staff was amazing, and they had the coldest beer possible. Not much more you can ask for after getting cooked in the sun by the dunes.

There are 3 non-camping places to stay in Sossusvlei, Desert Camp, Desert Quiver and the Sossusvlei Lodge. They are all owned by the same company. All meals are taken at the Sossusvlei Lodge 2-3 kms down the road. There is no internet at Desert Quiver. There is a nice swimming pool but one needs to drive to it. The rooms are very nice, however. Since the dunes are one of the true Wonders of the World, who really cares about where they stay? The experience was a 10 though the Desert Quiver gets a 7.5.

The chalets are very nice, clean and comfortable. The pool is great to enjoy a hot day. Staff is nice . Breakfast and dinner is available at the mainlodge, 5 km drive away , but easy to handle, food is served in very good quality . Breakfast even as early as 5:15 , which allows a very early start to Sossusvlei, which is desireable.
Please note, at the camp there is no wifi, only at the main lodge wifi is available. The Chalet does not have any utensils or dishes nor anything , this must be rented seperately , which we find troublesome , and we were not informed directly about this by the staff. A side point although , but the toilett in the chalet flushes very poorly . !!!

Good stay
All was ok just wish the pool was working because i booked that the apartment for the pool which was closed. Was offered to use pools from nearby guest houses
Secondly the fridge was not cold and the freezer compartment was tiny. Being in a desert, a big freezer makes sense. I wanted to put 2 liters of water to user when i go to the dunes but it could fit even a 1 litre bottle

This place is a gem. We stayed for 3 nights and it was amazing. Highlights include the views, the pool and the friendly staff. The lodge is located right outside the entrance gate to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. We booked Breakfast and Dinner included and the food was amazing. I highly recommend this lodge.

Very nice accommodation and conveniently located to visit Sossusvlei. If you choose not to cook and therefore book dinner, you will have to drive a few minutes to another accommodation, as the restaurant is not on site.
