Disappointing.
We did not get what we booked and paid for. The room description was for one of the larger rooms with a sofa chair, and a bathtub. Pictures also showed a balcony/deck area.
Our room was tiny, no chair, no deck and no bathtub.
Being 7 months pregnant I was very much looking forward to soaking in the tub so I was quite disappointed when our room only had a shower.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, you could feel the springs, and it was so hard my husband and I both woke up sore in the morning.
We were unable to shower in the morning as there was no running water in the room. We couldn’t even rinse our toothbrushes or have a sip of water as we couldn’t get even a drop out.
The only reason I had three stars was because the breakfast was great. Huge selection and it all tasted very good.
Also we were intrigued by the pictures of the library and viewing their large selection of books. We were surprised to find that all of the books were locked behind glass doors so we couldn’t even view them.
Overall I am very dissatisfied with our stay here. It was overpriced and the room descriptions were either false or we were given an incorrect room.
