"The rooms were beautiful spacious great view of the bay. The room was like an apartment, with all the amenities and more. It had a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge, pots, pans dishes anything you would need to cook a great meal. The staff were wonderful, they made sure to make beds daily remove trash and provided clean towels. I will be back with family."

"This is a beautiful resort that resets the mind and body. The room is spectacular with heated bathroom tiles and amenities. The food is very good with a variety of choices. The spa is very relaxing and you can stay by the pool and enjoy the atmosphere. The pool area is clean and you can enjoy the poolside bar and restaurant. There is a shuttle to the beach club that offers full service chairs, umbrella and food. It is a lovely resort."

"I suspect this hotel was probably really nice when it first opened, but it’s very evident throughout the property that maintenance has not been a priority. It’s a good hotel to lounge at in between days in Lisbon or Caparica, but beyond that I wouldn’t recommend. Most of the staff seemed disengaged or disinterested. The poolside bar was open at unpredictable hours. The spa area and sauna felt very unclean."

"We had a wonderful stay, the suite was spacious and beautiful. Both the outdoor and indoor pools were stunning. The restaurant was great too, 5 stars all round 😃 one suggestion for QDC, it would be great to have a more casual/snack bar option for lunches or dinners, to give an extra option"

"We had a very poor experience here, when we checked in there was no information on where things are or how the resort operates I had to request more information, and after checking in it was nearly impossible to get a hold of reception for any issues as they do not answer the phone, we were on the eco-resort and I had to get in the car and travel back to reception to get any kind of a response. They also take a deposit of one nights stay and said they would return it 72 hours after check out but...

"Wonderful stay at Independente. I had the pleasant surprise of getting upgraded to a bigger and very lovely villa. Both the design and the nature surrounding the property are wonderful. The amenities, pools and breakfast were amazing. Overall a perfect stay, very relaxing."

"Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our overall experience. The rooms are quite dated and, in our opinion, do not feel particularly luxurious. Our room also wasn’t cleaned on one of the days, despite us being out at the pool for the entire day. The main pool area was another disappointment. The sun loungers and seating are very basic, with no cushions, and the pool service was very limited. Cups and glasses were left on tables throughout the day without being collected, which...

"Excellent hotel. Easy check in and check out. Very clean. Climate control in bedroom. Staff were all lovely. The roof top terrace is nice in the sun, or take a chair round towards the gym, if you like a bit of shade. Breakfast was fine. Opposite the hotel is the causeway for launching small boats. But if you walk 100M to the left, there's a beach. We would definitely stay there again."

"Staff in the front desk was very nice and helpful specially"

"clean and cloae to beach ans restaurants. Not far from Lisbon in Taxi. easy to get there by bus as well"

"The property was unique"

"Zimmer zum Garten ruhig und sehr schöner Blick - nach vorne zur Straße nicht zu empfehlen, da laut. Frühstück sehr gut. Personal insgesamt sehr freundlich und angenehm. Lage OK, aber doch sehr weit von den Stränden."

"Amazing stay in Comporta / Carvalhal, we had a lovely experience for both adults and kids"

"Clean and well kept rooms with a good breakfast. The staff were nice and very helpful."
