Incredibly delicious, nourishing food made woth love and the freshest, healthiest, local, seasonal ingredients in traditional Alantejo way. Superb stay. My son and I both did not want to leave! "Overall, the hotel was lovely. The room was clean and had everything we needed, although if you need an iron you need to request the whole laundry service. The staff were so helpful and really friendly, nothing was too much trouble. It is in a quiet area near the river but hard to walk anywhere from it. Only a short drive to Alcacer do Sal. The pool needed cleaning along the bottom and there was a long trail of ants along the corridor until our final night. The breakfast was delicious, a selection of cooked food, pastries, fruit, cold meat and cereals although most days there were a couple of bits missing, not that this mattered too much. Dinner in the evening was superb. Everything cooked to perfection and staff were very attentive. I would be happy to stay here again but maybe better for short stays"
