"If you're visiting Portree this is the hotel to stay at. Beautiful views and wonderful food. The rooms are very nice and i would highly recommend paying extra for the ocean view. Nothing like waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee overlooking the water. The people are friendly and it's just an awesome place to stay. Everything you need in one place. "

The room was clean and the bathroom was glorious… really wish I had time to use that tub! The grounds are very cute and I recommend eating at the restaurant. "We had a lovely two night stay at the Sligachan Hotel. Our room was clean, the beds were comfy with good pillows, and the rain shower feature in the bathroom was wonderful! We had a nice view of the water from our window. The bar next door, Seumas' Bar had an excellent selection of whiskey, a very nice dinner menu. The sea bass was fabulous and the honey cake dessert was divine. We would like to especially thank Mariam at the front desk for being so kind and helpful during our stay. "

"Small family owned hotel. Located in a remote location, so very peaceful and quiet. In the evening there is a nice fireplace in the lounge. Perfect for a quick pre or post dinner hangout on a chilly night. Drive to the hotel is filled with scenic views of the water, rolling hills dotted with grazing sheep!
