"It is a delightful inn on a hill near Smokey Mountain National Park. The breakfast is very basic "fast food" such as boxed cereal and hard boil egg, juice, coffee/tea. Not fancy, but sufficient. The best feature is the kindness of the staff -- very pleasant and sure to please."

"We have never stayed in Townsend before during all of our stays to the Smokies. I loved being away from the hustle of crowds. The Parkman was the first place I googled for Townsend area. They allowed my pet which was a must. The room and property were both clean. The staff were polite. It was just me and the hubby for our 10 year anniversary, so the room given was perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Townsend."

"This is one of the biggest cases of false advertising I have ever experienced. Hire the photographer, don’t book the hotel. Maybe one building that we never saw looks like these photos, we could just see it from ours. There are 12 buildings, 1 (maybe) is renovated. Bed bugs, musky mold smell, outdated. Dirty sheets. A sink clog and a sink full of strangers hair. Kids heard running all night. A 3 am checkout in the middle of nowhere in the mountains so we didnt get sick. There was nowhere...

"This is a true bed & breakfast and it is magical. Set in the forest, with a mountain in the background, lovely lighting outside at night. We really loved the setting. Unfortunately, our bathroom and kitchenette needed cleaning, and that was a disappointment in such a great place."

"Picturesque little valley campsite, right by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge tourist options). Clean and cozy tent cabins, wonderful staff that were very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time, it was the perfect home base to explore the Smokies and get outdoors and unplug."
