"HI We stayed 4 nights. Hotel area is under heavy construction for a while. It's quite at night. Also if you are using Didi or taxi the car has to use side entrance which can be pain for the driver to find. The Hotel is 8 min short walk to Yu Yuan Garden and just across line 10 metro too. Both a plus."

"Mandarin Oriental hotels always set a high standard and this Shanghai property was excellent. Staff were amazing and so polite and helpful. I stayed in a club room and this was spacious and well appointed. Only one draw back was the lack of English TV channels. The complementary toiletries were a bit disappointing. I used the fitness suite and this was excellent- nice spa area as well. Food was generally good especially the breakfast."

"Hotel was decent, nothing special. Breakfast was ok - not fresh for sure. I was there for 1 week and it was the same everyday, I could tell it wasn't fresh. Only fresh thing was the guy making egg omelette. Surprisingly hardly anybody at the hotel spoke English. Very difficult to communicate, I didn't expect it as you would expect a high end hotel to. I personally wouldn't pay all that money to come here again, would rather pay less/half and go elsewhere. It was my 1st time in China/Shanghai. If I had of known it would be been like that then I would have rather stayed elsewhere and saved some money. As I've mentioned it wasn't anything special."
